This year, Mikimoto Pearl Island will be holding the following events over the New Year period.
~An exhibition of antique snake jewelry in honor of the Year of the Snake~
As 2025 is the year of the snake, the Pearl Museum will have a special exhibition of four antique pieces of jewelry with a snake motif from its collection.
Period: December 28, 2024 (Saturday) to January 31, 2025 (Friday)
Location: Pearl Museum, 2nd floor, near the first exhibition room
-Exhibition of Kokichi Mikimoto's Ebisu and Daikoku statue collection-
As a man who lived by the sea, Kokichi Mikimoto had a deep interest in statues of Ebisu and Daikoku, which are related to the sea and commerce. In celebration of the New Year, we will be exhibiting several pieces from Kokichi Mikimoto's collection of Ebisu and Daikoku statues at the museum. (They are also on permanent display at the Kokichi Memorial Hall.)
